I can, however, send my best wishes to you and your scholars, and thank you for the honor you propose doing me in giving attention to my writings and my life. My eighty-fourth anniversary has just past, leaving me reasonably well, but over-tired with innumerable applications made to me from all quarters. I will mention a few poems as my hasty selection.
