贴簧为竹刻技法之一，此笔筒以紫檀为胎，表面贴簧。器身又浅刻夔龙纹，刀法娴熟，刻画精细，栩栩如生，画意清新明：色泽光润，清淡幽雅。器型秀丽，造工规整。贴黄特指削取竹筒内壁的黄色表层，经煮压后，粘贴在木胎的器物上的竹刻工艺品。其表面或为光素，或镌刻花纹，是竹刻中的独特品种。又称竹簧、反黄、文竹等。贴黄工艺在清中期达到很高水平，胎骨复杂而严谨，雕刻和装饰精致华美。来源：海外回流
