题识：苇间居士并题。|钤印：颐公、寿民、老画师|藏印：曼生鉴藏书画、包氏松溪鉴藏之印|题签：边寿民瓶荷，一九六三年得之。 |释文：插花最是插荷难，花纵支持叶已干。争似画来粘素壁，六郎颜色四时看。||说明：题诗收入《苇间老人题画集》中，第二句作“花绽枝疏叶易干”，可以参阅。“包氏松溪鉴藏之印”为道光间扬州人包松溪之章，包官运司同知，家巨富。||边寿民|山阳（今淮安）人，初名维祺，字颐公，又字渐僧、墨仙，号苇间居士，晚年又号苇间老民、绰翁、绰绰老人，名列“扬州八怪”之一，善画花鸟、蔬果和山水，尤以画芦雁驰名江淮，亦工诗词、精书法。
