Evans, PALL MALL, the exterior stamped C. J. OPPENHEIM and with later paper label to one side from William Evans, 9cm x 83cm x 32cm (2) The firm of James Purdey & Sons operated from their Oxford Street address from 1826 and moved to their current address in South Audley Street in 1882. In 2014 the company celebrated its bicentennial.
