葵花形，圆钮，莲花钮座。钮座十六重瓣莲花，围绕圆钮。钮外四朵宝相花呈“X”状排列分布。外区饰花朵及叶瓣花苞纹，主体花卉为四朵盛放的莲花，莲花稳稳的端坐于中央，下方的枝蔓从两侧各自伸出一枝藤蔓，藤蔓又各自伸出藤蔓，于是就形成了四朵盛开的吉祥花卉围绕莲花形成了一组茂密繁盛的宝相花图案。四朵繁密的宝相花中还有蝴蝶纹饰作为辅助纹饰，体现出一种百蝶穿花，生动活泼的自然之景。宝相花，是佛教艺术中特有的花卉图形，含有吉祥、美满的寓意。素平缘。此镜黑漆古，构图布局疏朗合理、铸工精致、富丽高贵，极具装饰美感，形制为葵花形，体型硕大，实为少见。
