A square-sectioned, Chinese, porcelain vase with rectangular base & mouth lavishly painted on all sides with blue & white, and famille rose palettes with gold accents. The neck and shoulder form a wide based hourglass shape where it inclines again towards the base. The major decorative elements consist of large illustrations of robed figures in conversation in courtyards with smaller panels of the same, as well as monochromatic orange landscape scenes, & birds hovering near branches. The remaining spaces are filled with varieties of floral scroll, with thin-bodied dark gold-hued Taotie affixed on either side of the neck. H: 11 3/4" (29.9cm) Condition: in fair condition with small repair and overpaint to mouth ,repair to the base & reglued the dragon handles
