此尊水月观音面庞饱满宽阔丰腴双目垂视神情肃穆。二缕发辫自双肩而下。其身披袈裟胸部坦露璎珞精美颀长一手扶膝双腿一上一下怡然自得。此像造型端庄比例匀称鎏金保存较好具有鲜明的时代特征十分珍贵。水月观音又称水吉祥观音或水吉祥菩萨是观世音一心观水相的化身其形像有多种。一种是站立在莲瓣上莲瓣则漂浮在海面观世音正在观看水中之月。
