何朝宗是明代万历—嘉靖年间的瓷塑大师以“何派”瓷雕艺术而驰名中外。其作品被世界各大博物馆及私人竞相收藏有“东方艺术瑰宝”之美称被尊为“瓷圣”。明朝德化白釉釉色偏黄是为特征这种质感很丰富的乳白色曾很受欧洲人欢迎美称为象牙白猪油白中国白等。其工艺成就代表了德化窑的高超水平是何朝宗传世塑像中的经典之作。立像背部钤有“何朝宗印”方形印章款。
