the ovoid body supported on a tapering foot carved and incised on the exterior with four peony heads borne on leafy stems above a band of overlapping leaves, covered overall in an even ivory-white glaze, fittedwith a flat domed cover with a simple stem knop, the unglazed inner rim of cover and foot revealing the fine white body, 6.6 inch high.
