Irish School Early 20th Century Watercolour. The watercolour depicting a waterfront property possibly the Italian Lakes, signed lower right M.le Poer Power dated 1939, approx 29 x 19 cms. (foxing evident to the right of the watercolour) Note: This watercolour belonged to Malcolm Fayerweather Gordon C.B.E D.Sc. Gordon in association with Dr de Bruyne created a laminate of flax roving and paper soaked with liquid phenolic resin and cured under pressure and used on the tail fins of the Spitfire thus named Gordon Aerolite.
