(5) Korean Blue & White, Hand-painted, Porcelain Vases, Korea, 20th century. Includes: a) Octagonal brush pot with calligraphy; b) Globular white jar, signed in characters on the base; c) Rectangular bottle vase hand-painted with flowers and signed in characters on the base; d) Jar hand-painted in blue with floral sprays and Greek Key decoration, and includes a wood stand; e) Celadon fish brush washer; f) Celadon fish water dropper, impressed maker's mark on the base. Dimensions are: largest - 4 1/8 inches wide X 9 1/2 inches tall X 2 3/8 inches deep; smallest - 3 1/2 inches wide X 2 1/2 inches tall X 3 1/2 inches deep. All measurements are approximate. Condition: All pieces are free of cracks, chips, or repairs. Light crazing to glaze on some items. Provenance: From the estate of Robert and Virginia Brewster. Mr. Brewster was with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and he and his family resided in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia. and Korea. Acquisitions were made from 1957 to 1980 throughout Asia.
