Japanese Meiji era (1868-1912) bronze censor with 3 cloisonne enamel medallions and three short feet. The cloisonne medallions are circular with three spades and leaves in blue and green. Dimensions are: 4 1/4 inches high X 14 1/2 inches diameter. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Bronze shows signs of oxidation, both exterior and interior although more evident on interior; residue on interior from previous contents of censor. The cloisonne medallions have air bubbles and pock marks in the enamel parts.
