The shell top is surmounted with the Russian Imperial Crown in vermeil set with a cabochon sapphire and the bottom shell of the Egg is embellished with Theo's own interpretation of the Fabergé swags. The base is ornamentally turned on Theo's Holtzapfel lathe dating from 1861.Number 67 of 80 created. Approximately 18 cm. tall, 1188 gram.
