(Browned to margins, a bookplate carefully removed from front and rear pastedowns.) Original black cloth (chipped to top of spine, gilt lettering faded, discoloured to tail of spine). Note: the inscription from Hamilton reads 'For Lois, with love from Disraeli'. Lois was Hamilton's first wife and 'Disraeli' the pet name he used with her.
