长16cm；宽12cm
|砚随形，浅开砚堂，上部雕蕉叶纹，翻卷围成砚池，并雕蜘蛛及守宫，颇有趣味。石色红紫，色如猪肝，石质纯净细腻而内含锋芒，下发墨极佳。敲击它时发出“笃笃”声，老细腻娇嫩、滋润到可以“呵气研墨”的效果。配红木砚盒。李秉礼（1748～1830），字敬之、号松圃、七松老人，祖籍江西临川，寓居桂林。工诗画。清乾隆三十九年捐刑部江苏郎中。着有《韦庐诗内外集》。诰授中宪大夫，驰封光禄大夫，与父李宜民、子李宗瀚被称为“李氏三代红顶子”；与父李宜民、弟李秉绶、子李宗瀚等，在清一代这享有“临川李氏”盛誉。
