高7cm；宽16cm
|砚滴铸成站立瑞兽状，为宋代仿汉风格文房器，传承久远，保存良好，殊为不易。瑞兽昂首，目视前方，腹部下垂，近乎贴地，前肢出卷云纹羽翼，后半身覆鳞羽，尾尖垂直向下，猪鼻、方嘴、短耳等特征均与汉代石雕瑞兽相似，头顶附一对节状长角。背部开注水孔，膛中空以贮水，嘴有流滴，稍加倾斜，腔内储水便由瑞兽口中流出，可供研墨之用。整器铸造精湛，造型虽出臆想，神态动作却得写实之妙。皮色高古，置之案头清赏，古意清悠。
