|此件狮耳炉厚重大气，给人以沉稳凝重的气势。此炉口束颈，炉身较高，腹部鼓垂，圈足外撇。其身两侧的双耳硕大，其精细入微的工艺，可谓此炉最大的亮点。采以高浮雕铸成，额头脸面多处突起，表现出肌肉骨骼的质感。眉毛由三部份曲卷合成，加以阴刻毛丝。两目有神，阔鼻大口，獠牙外露，鬃毛刻画流畅，威风凛凛。炉底正中为减地书“大明宣德年制”款。六字款识当为与炉一体熔铸而成，笔道壁立劲挺，笔画均匀而凹凸利落，加之底子平整如砺，干净整洁，熔铸工艺极为精湛。
