参阅：1.《Chinese Ceramics in the baur collection》，1999年，页235，图339；2.《官样御瓷—故宫博物院藏清代制瓷官样与御窑瓷器》，紫禁城出版社，2007年，页302，图94；3.《清代单色釉瓷器》，台北故宫博物院，1981年，页61，图21。明清两朝对黄釉瓷的使用有明确规定，据《大明会典》载，明嘉靖九年定四郊各陵瓷器的颜色中，黄色为方丘之器，方丘为祭地神之所，故黄釉器为祭祠地神之物。清代沿袭此定制，此种盖罐从康熙时起便有烧制，台北故宫见有收藏，而烧制的纸质图样今仍保存于北京故宫博物院。本拍品为道光官窑制品，盖、罐皆保存完好，十分难得，内外通施明黄釉，釉色娇艳明快，相同藏品瑞士收藏家鲍尔见有旧藏，可相互印证。
