此田黄石章颜色纯正明亮，石质细润凝结，包浆油亮有韵。作小巧规整兽钮方章，印身光素整洁，古兽形态朴茂生动，须髪宛然，祥瑞之气顿生。不论治印或置之案头，十分雅致。田黄石因其质地凝腻温润、色泽美净鲜明，而被认为是印章中的极品。清代，田黄石曾被雕刻成御用玺印及艺术雕刻品，而受皇家钟爱，故田黄石又被尊为“石中之王”、“石帝”，历来为藏家所珍。
