参阅：《Sung Ceramic Designs》，寒山堂，页152-153，图92，Lot163宋代汝、官、哥、钧、定“五大名窑”中，定窑是其中唯一一个以精美白瓷闻名于世的瓷窑。它是继邢窑之后崛起并独领风骚的一个巨大的白瓷窑系。更以其划花、刻画、印花工艺独步一时。元代文人刘祁在《归潜志》中赞道：“定窑花瓷瓯，颜色天下白”。定窑白瓷由于瓷质精良，色泽淡雅，纹饰秀美，被朝廷选作御用瓷，更使其身价大增。此碗六瓣花口，内部模印加剔刻花卉纹，其布局严谨，层次分明，线条清晰，密而不乱，具有很高的艺术水平。
