拍品水注取白玉为材，质地细腻，光滑莹润，有玻璃光泽。器身直口，体扁而宽，似壶形，可分盖、身两部分，子母扣相合，内膛掏空通于器腹为流，通体雕刻福寿花卉主题纹饰，寓意「福庆有余」。颈部至腹部雕柄手，样式似花蔓，又似游龙，灵动而飘逸。此件玉器具乾隆宫廷仿古特色，设计精巧，法度谨严，置于书室案头轻巧雅致之意立显，文人墨客当喜爱不已。水注，又称水滴、滴子，专供注水于砚的盛器。《辞源》水注条：「文具，用以注水于砚。有嘴的叫水注，无嘴的叫水丞。古称酒壶为注子，水注之名本此。其式方圆不一，汉时器。」其起源于汉，盛行于宋元，以后历代均有研制。整器构思精巧，纹饰精美，清新自然，赏心悦目，凭添几十分雅致。
