此对椅整体髹黑漆，整体饰浮雕幷髹朱漆描金，色彩艳丽。搭脑浑厚，不与靠背板齐平。后腿上截和搭脑相接处有角牙安固。靠背板上髹朱漆描金“寿”字及海水江崖，座面为硬屉，上面彩绘连绵花卉。椅盘下四足为方材，三面安光素的券口牙子，管脚枨下亦安刀牙条。其靠背后面书有“大清康熙年制”款识，此对官帽椅应为定制贺寿之用，以观赏为主。黄花梨南官帽椅也有很多类似的造型，显示这是一种比较标准的形制。
