An Interesting Early 20th Century Photographic Album Prince of Gwaios. The album is understood to be photographs of the wedding between the Prince and Lekha Divyeshwari Devi who was descended from the powerful Rana dynasty of Nepal. The wedding was conducted on the 21 February 1941 in Singha Durbar (The Palace in Kathmandu) and depicts the groom, the bride, the grooms father Maharajah Scindia, Indian nobles and Indian and British dignitary as they progress through the course of the day. Approx 101 black and white photographs.
