A large Chinese blue and white porcelain brush washer dating from the early 20th century. There is a 6-character mark on the bottom, and the main band around the body depicts 2 dragons chasing a flaming pearl. There is a wave and rock motif at the bottom, and the top has a band of 5 bats among clouds. Dimensions are: 6 1/2 inches tall X 10 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition. Provenance: From Mrs. Chang of La Jolla, CA, who was an antiques dealer in Hong Kong and owned two antiques shop in Hong Kong before immigrating to the US in early 1990s.
