A Chinese watercolor and ink painting on paper of a lady reclining by a table and dating from the Republic period. It is mounted on a silk backing with silk dowels. Dimensions are: 35 1/2 inches tall X 21 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The painting has creasing and mold. Provenance: From the collection of Mr. & Mrs. Snell in Maryland, who travelled extensively in the Far East in the 1970s and 1980s and collected many oriental arts and antiques.
