Modelled in the form of a double-gourd, the circular body with slightly domed sides, enamelled in shades of iron-red with a large central lotus bloom radiating sprays of composite floral scrolls, below the bulb-shaped neck painted with peony sprays, the strap handles and the rounded peripheral sides similarly decorated with floral motifs, all raised on a short rectangular foot with a narrow classic scroll.
