赏析：和阗白玉制成，玉质细腻白糯，器体大体呈椭圆形，一边中部作尖状内凹，另一边中段四面减地，琢刻为方柱形，未经抛光，拉丝工艺痕迹十分明显。此件器物造型简洁别致，光素无纹，抛光细致，包浆浑厚，具有鲜明的辽、宋时期雍容内敛的艺术风格，推测可能为当时贵族所用蹀躞带或腰带扣环，器型极为少见。注：同类器物见《中国古代玉器艺术-上卷》（人民美术出版社）P262第123号“白玉带饰 辽金”及《中国玉器赏鉴》（薛贵笙主编）P279第547号“玉多宝串”主饰，可供参阅。
