赏析：观音，面相秀美、慈祥，姿态优雅端庄，犹如明代仕女形象，呈半跏式自在坐于山石之上。右腿曲蹲。无拘成规，自由自在，故称自在观音。其头戴风帽，发丝刻画精细。面相圆润，慈祥秀美，眉间饰白毫，杏目微启，双耳垂肩，庄严妙曼。朴素淡雅，身着广袖通肩大衣，双手搭于右膝并隐于宽袖之内，衣褶随体形勾勒得简洁流畅，流转自然，突显了观音流畅的线条和优美的身段，独具温馨柔和的古典女性美学艺术魅力。自在观音亦译“光世音”、“观世自在”、“观自在”，是阿弥陀佛的左胁侍，西方三圣之一，对苦恼众生能自在拔苦与乐。后相传唐代周昉创作自在坐姿的水月观音，宋代以后成为菩萨像的流行形式。本件作品铜质精良，手头颇实。整体造型端庄秀美，面目慈悲，比例精确，生动展现出观音菩萨普度众生的慈悲之心与庄严祥和之相。
