The Allen Hershell Company was commissioned to create extraordinarily ornate carousel animals for the family machine. This carved, one-of-a-kind camel was part of the menagerie of animals. The machine was made even larger to accommodate these bigger animals, resulting in one of the most spectacular carousels ever made.
