A pair of Chinese, porcelain, famille rose jars of globular form. The larger shows a songbird on a branch above a group of flowers against a plain white background. A red, blue, purple, & sea-green band wraps around the base. A similarly colored band of ruyi head shapes wraps around shoulder below the neck. H. 4 7/8in.(12.5cm) Condition: in good condition The smaller shows sprays of bats, flowers, and iron-red stamps against a yellow ground , with a red on red key fret band at its shoulder and a multicolored lapis band around the base. H. 4 in. (10cm) Condition: In excellent condition, with one flea-bite chip in the glaze along the inside of the rim.
