A pair of 19th Century, blue & white, Chinese, porcelain jars with covers. The larger shows blossoming plum branches in white (facing both upwards and downwards) on a darker painted blue background with a matching dome-shaped cover. H: 8 1/4" (20.9cm) The smaller shows large auspicious symbols between decorative dividers, with patterned bands above and below. The cherry colored wooden cover is carved with concentric circles, with a latticework center. The shoulder and neck appear unglazed. H: 5 3/4in. (14.5cm) Condition: the smaller jar is in excellent condition, the big jar is in good condition with only the cover broken and glued back
