A pair of Cantonese, porcelain vases/ lamps, of baluster form with wide rim and curving, gilded, textured handles set at either side of the waisted necks. A series of 6 large and 6 small paneled illustrations of: figures in conversation, birds in flowering trees, and roosters foraging on the ground sit within a matrix of green and pink floral scroll on a gilded ground. Both vases/ lamps are capped in brass and sit upon tiered, circular, wooden bases. H: 15 in. (38 cm) Vase only Condition: both mounted as lamp, otherwise both in good condition
