Two tall, Gongbi style, panel mounted paper, Chinese water-media paintings of scholarly men with youthful proteges in elaborately cultivated outdoor environs in recessed, round cornered wooden frames, with linen texture matting. H: 40 1/2" (102.8cm) W: 19 3/4" (50.2cm) - with frame Condition: Minor small scuffs to frames. The matting is coming unstuck in areas. The paintings have darkened with former stresses evident in the paper. One piece has a 3 1/4" (8.2cm) horizontal tear.
