MARQUESS OF LONDONDERRY: A CHINA PUDDING BOWL, CIRCA 1880 Unsigned, crest to side. Dimensions -- 5 x 8.5in. (12.5 x 21cm.) C The company operated a collier fleet running up and down the East Coast to London. The last ship ( Lady Londonderry ) was built in 1908 but sank in a collision in 1918 when the firm seems to have closed. They also operated a large steam yacht, the Cornelia for the family, built in 1880 for holiday to the South Coast and Ireland which was converted to cargo use in 1919.Condition report: C
