Early 20th c. fishing themed candleholder.Depicts fisherman inspired by THE COMPLEAT ANGLER by Isaac (Izaak) Walton, first published in 1653. This candleholder features seven fishermen on the outside and a willow tree border on the inside. On the rim is the verse THERE STOOD MY FRIEND, WITH PATIENT SKILL ATTENDING OF HIS TREMBLING QUILL.
