The IIIf series introduced features that would bring Leicas into the ultimate echelon of photographic capability- a broad range of shutter speeds, removable lenses using the M39 screw format, and a flash synchronization port with delay settings. This camera comes with its leather case, a Leica lens cap, and features the Red Dial- a unique derivation of the flash control with red enamel lettering instead of the standard black.
