白玉質，質地潔白細潤。珮呈瓜瓞形，頂飾瓜蒂，瓜形身帶脊棱，底部浮雕梗葉，枝葉綿延婉轉，充滿生機。潘岳《為賈謐作贈陸機》詩中有云：「畫野離疆，爰封眾子。夏殷即襲，宗周祭祀，綿綿瓜瓞，六國互峙。」由於瓜的果實內多籽，搭配藤蔓或花卉，便組成「瓜瓞綿延」的圖騰紋樣，有「子孫昌盛」、「事業興旺」之吉祥寓意。
