Two (2) East Tennessee stoneware pottery jars. 1st item: East TN transitional redware/stoneware pottery jar with extruded handles, possibly Greene County. 13 3/4" H. 19th century. Exhibited 1996-1997 at the East TN History Center "Tennessee Turned: Earthenware and Stoneware made in East Tennessee 1800-1900", curated by Dr. Carole Wahler. 2nd item: Large East Tennessee stoneware pottery jar with applied lug handles.
