A pair of Chinese export silver small circular bowls by Wang Hing (WH, 97 and a chop mark 佳记 Jia Ji), import marked for Glasgow 1902, sponsor's mark of George Edward & Sons (David & George Edward), stamped for Edwards & Sons as retailers, chased with vacant shields and figures in landscapes, on plain flared foot rims, 10cm (4in) diameter, 291g (9.35 oz) Wang Hing traded from 10 Queen's Road, Hong Kong; 1 Sai Hing Street, Canton and from Shanghai circa 1854 until 1941. Edwards & Sons traded from Buchanan Street, Glasgow circa 1892 until 1919.
