定窑是我国古代北方名窑之一，以白瓷、黑瓷、酱釉和绿釉为主要产品，其中尤以白釉器为最，所出多数为日常民用器皿。此件定窑罐短颈折肩，肩下向足圈收束。通体施白釉，胎质坚实致密，雅致而不失大器。配有日式漆盖。
