此器通体以龙纹为主题，整器呈“蒸饼式”，圆形，盖面隆起，器壁下收。器身盖面雕饰团龙纹，蛟龙交错缠绕，利爪外眦，霸气十分。子母口侧壁，则选用经典的繁花锦地纹饰，牡丹尽自绽放，艳丽十分，反映出一片吉祥太平，江山水固。整器通体雕工细腻，纹美质坚，为雕漆作品中的佳作。
