此件香薰为湖田窑制品，其造型师法古器，凝重庄严之中透露出浓厚的温雅之意。整器由盖、身两部分组成，以子母口相合，盖为半球形，穹顶镂空，以便香气四溢。身为香炉形，下承三足，炉身以莲花瓣纹饰作为装饰，通体施影青釉，釉色青白淡雅，釉面明澈丽洁，积釉处色深，浓淡相宜。
