此瓶瓶口外撇，颈部细长，两侧各凸起一鱼形耳，折肩，瓶身成直筒形，小圈足，足部露胎，胎色灰黑，应是在白色胎土中掺入一定量的紫金土，使得釉色在暗沉的胎土衬托下显得更加内敛沉郁。全器通施釉，釉质肥润醇厚，双耳瓶创烧于隋代，兴盛于两宋，有贯耳、环耳、戟耳、兽耳等多种式样，凤耳和鱼耳则是龙泉窑特有的装饰，多见于南宋。因为鱼耳和颈部的链接细弱，很容易残缺，而此件鱼耳瓶保存完好，实为难得。
