佩整体呈片状，近梯形，多处细小沁色。正面满饰纹样，运用阴线雕琢两只面对面的凤鸟，设计巧妙，独具匠心，其纹饰雕琢宛转曲折处毫无滞涩之感，可谓线条流畅，精湛卓绝。玉佩上部分边缘琢六孔，下部边缘一行琢十孔，上下两排钻孔为穿系丝绶所设。此器应是玉组佩的主要构件。
