来源：文物商店旧藏林纾（1852～1924），初名群玉，字琴南，号畏庐，福建闽县人。光绪八年举人。工诗及古文，以译外国小说一百八十余种着称于世。擅山水，又能花鸟。平生以译书为业，鬻书画文章自给。晚年定居北京，著述繁富。为海派名家之一。上款人简介：徐用仪（1826～1900），字吉甫，号筱云，浙江海盐人。咸丰九年举人。充军机章京，累官总理各国事务衙门大臣、兵部尚书。中日甲午战争时，力主和局。义和团运动兴起时，忤慈禧等，被处死，后追谥忠愍。编有《海盐县志》。女婿葛嗣浵。
