Four Antique Wahgi Valley Papua New Guinea Throwing Arrows: the arrows are flightless arrows used for the intimidation of humans, bamboo construction with barbed black palm tip, approx 120 cms. This lot also includes Wahgi Valley Papua New Guinea Highlands Hand-Crafted Articles, a beanie of natural fibers together with a natural fiber (bag) and a hand-made cous-cous Fir Bilum (shoulder bag), and a Wahgi Kina Shell Collar; original given as a gift from the tribe.  Note: These were originally purchased from a local collector who was working with the tribes in the valley. This lot comes with copies of original photographs taken of and with the local indigenous population.
