A WWII LIP German Panzer Second Division Officer's Wrist Watch. Note: The provenance letter states that the watch was given to the vendors great grandfather Private William John Jones who served with the 34th Army Tank Brigade. He and his Division fought again the German 2nd Panzer Division and forced their surrender. A German Tank Commander asked my great-grandfather for a cigarette, on giving him the cigarette the commander offered him the above watch and cigarette case which contained a few German and French coins in exchange for his entire packet of cigarettes. My great grandfather returned to Wales after the war with the watch and cigarette case.
