Large Qing Dynasty Chinese Tibetan gilt bronze Bodhisattva figure of Vairochana Buddha, in appearance of Vairochana Abhisambodhi. Cast with serene face, with pendulous earlobes. Blue pigmented hair piled on the top of the head beneath five pointed crown. The two hands raised slightly below chest level, perform vajra gesture, the right hand grasping the index finger of the left hand.. Necklaces and bracelets adorn the neck and limbs and the lower body is wrapped with a skirt. Extensive gilding remaining and traces of blue pigment in the hair. The upper right chest, back, and underneath of sculpture shows an rectangular cut-out, a precisely fitting bronze comes with the sculpture.
