Regency mahogany Longcase: A painted breakarch 13'' dial with 8 day movement striking on a bell with date moustache aperture and inset seconds dial at 12. The case having a shell inlaid long door etc., reeded quarter columns to trunk, the hood with full reeded columns and swan neck pediment. 'Jn Holmes W Hampton' (possibly son of Joseph Holmes, 1790 (GH Baille)). 89 1/2'' high.
