A composition Early Dynastic I cylinder seal with animals and a human figure from left to right: a bull with a raised tail and a jumping caprid, both turned backwards to the narrow side of the impression; then a hedgehog with hinted eye and pointy muzzle, from the right a human figure with the head of a lioness and arms raised on both sides; accompanied by a museum-quality impression. 22 grams, 43mm (1 3/4"). From a private collection of seals and amulets, the property of a Canadian gentleman living in London; from his father's collection formed in the late 1960s to 1980s.
